Daejeon Ojeong-dong Pilates Introduces Brain Science–Based Training with Free EEG Analysis Event in January
A Pilates and yoga studio in Ojeong-dong, Daedeok-gu, Daejeon, is drawing attention by integrating brain science into its training programs. Park Bojeong Daom Pilates Yoga, located near Hannam University, announced a free EEG-based brain analysis event for January 2026.
While many people begin yoga or Pilates with physical fitness goals, some experience persistent fatigue, anxiety, or lack of recovery despite regular exercise. According to the studio, these issues are often related not to muscles, but to the condition of the brain and nervous system, which control movement, posture, and emotional regulation.
EEG, or electroencephalogram analysis, measures electrical signals generated by neural activity in the brain. These signals provide objective indicators of stress levels, autonomic nervous system balance, and recovery capacity. By analyzing this data, instructors can better understand each individual’s internal state before designing a training program.
The studio is led by Park Bojeong, a certified brain therapy instructor and brain education counselor registered with national institutions. Based on EEG data, Park provides scientifically grounded consultations rather than general fitness advice, creating customized yoga and Pilates sequences tailored to each participant’s neurological condition.
Training methods vary depending on the analysis results. Participants showing high tension or anxiety tendencies focus on breathing control and slow, stabilizing movements to calm the nervous system. Those with low energy or depressive patterns engage in rhythmic Pilates and therapeutic wall exercises designed to stimulate neural activation and posture alignment.
One of the studio’s distinguishing features is its pre- and post-session EEG comparison. Instead of relying solely on subjective feedback, changes in brainwave patterns are measured and used to adjust future session intensity and mindfulness components. This data-driven feedback system reflects the studio’s “smart wellness” philosophy.
The January event is open to both new and existing members and includes EEG measurement, one-on-one expert consultation, and personalized training design at no cost. The studio emphasizes that effective exercise should be a process of understanding and caring for the body and mind, not forcing performance.
