Korea Therapy Yoga Association (KTYA)

Korea Therapy Yoga Association (KTYA)

The Korea Therapy Yoga Association (KTYA) is Korea’s most structured and prestigious yoga organization, with over 160 accredited centers and 7,000 certified instructors nationwide.

For more than 25 years, KTYA has pioneered a research-based and academically grounded education system, advancing yoga as an integrated science of healing, movement, and meditation.

Academic and Publishing Excellence

KTYA serves as a central pillar of the International Association of Integrative Therapy (IAIT), whose members publish peer-reviewed research in the “Journal of Neuro-Somatic Integrative Therapy.” These studies bridge yoga, neuroscience, fascia, and integrative medicine, defining the scientific foundation of modern yoga therapy.

The association also operates Shanti Story Publishing, which has released over 80 professional books across yoga, pilates, meditation, and sound therapy as of November 2025. Many of these titles have become national bestsellers and serve as official textbooks for RYTK300+ and RYTK400 certification programs.

Media, Culture, and Knowledge Platform

KTYA publishes “Yoga & Pilates Insight,” the only professional monthly magazine in Korea written by yoga and pilates educators. It explores yoga philosophy, anatomy, neuroscience, and integrative therapy—creating a living archive of body-mind-spirit culture in Korea.

YO&P Membership and Lifelong Education

Through the YO&P Membership, KTYA provides over 70 specialized certificate programs free for life to more than 7,000 instructors worldwide. This curriculum uniquely integrates wall yoga, fascia yoga, pranayama, meditation, and singing bowl therapy within a holistic framework of body, breath, and awareness.
